January Roll Call begins the 1st.  We hope everyone had a very safe and happy New Year!  Don't forget to check in with either Shirley Cullum or Elaine Martin to let us know you are still willing to be a TXGenWeb member!

  March brings the discussion of moving off the RootsWeb server and finding a hosting service we would consider using.  The TXGenWeb staff suggested Active Web Hosting as it was the one service we knew to be reliable.  Discussion of the cost arose.  The SC Shirley Cullum polled the membership on making the move or not.  Only 5 no's came in on the poll so it was decided to go ahead with the move from RootsWeb's server to the AWH server at a cost of $96 a year.  It was discussed that CC's could send in $5-10 to help with the cost.   The files were officially moved on March 10, 2008.  The new domain name is txgenweb.org and the new county URL's would be txgenweb.com/countyname
