  • Gammel's The Laws of Texas, 1822-1897 - This has long been one of the most important primary resources for the study of Texas' complex history during the Nineteenth Century. Gammel's monumental compilation charts Texas from the time of colonization through to statehood and reveals Texas' legal history during crucial times in its development.
  • Index to Military Rolls of the Republic of Texas 1835-1845 - Information about military service of individuals who served the Republic of Texas during this timeframe.
  • Republic Claims Search - The Audited Republic Claims series includes claims for payment, reimbursement, or restitution submitted by citizens to the Republic of Texas government from 1835 through 1846.
  • Sons of the Dewitt Colony of Texas - This website is focused on the history, politics, life and genealogy of the area covered by the Dewitt Colony from 1700-1846.
