I am trying to find information on my great-uncle, Doctor Alexander Kinser, who lived in Gaines Co in and near Seminole from 1923 until his death in 1967. "Doc" migrated from Dallas and went to work for, and lived with, the Kirk family in Gaines Co. He is buried in the Kirk plot in Seminole.
I would like to hear from anyone who might remember "Doc".
I believe the following died in the Seagraves area as indicated. I would like data that would be on their death records or headstones. 1) Charity Emma Lindley d. 1885, 2) Elizabeth J. Lindley d. 1879 and Thomas Jefferson Lindley d. 1904.

I am interested in hearing stories of the settlement of Gaines County, and Seminole in particular, around the turn of the century. My grand- and great-grandparents, COKER and THOMPSON, were one of the first families to arrive in Seminole in 1903 and 1904, respectively, and I have read and re-read the "Gaines County Story" many times. If anyone has stories which include Dee and Eunice Coker, or their close friends Maugie Turner, Freda Denham, Bill Birdwell, Doll Birdwell, Miss Hattie Patterson, it would be most enjoyable to hear about these. I would also enjoy hearing stories about my father, Oley D. Coker, and his sister, John E. Coker Wright.
