Position: Volunteer Manager

This is a duty of the State Coordinator that can be managed by a staff member. This position requires people skills and and a happy demeanor. You may appoint a webmaster to help with your pages.

  1. Manage Volunteers
    - Keep a current list of volunteers, where they serve and in what capacity.
    - Keep a historic list of volunteers, where they served and in what capacity with dates.
    - Check that each County Coordinator is responsive to the email address listed on the website (roll call).
    - Recruit and terminate volunteers as necessary.
  2. Report Changes
    - to SC for voting purposes.
    - to Webmaster for site updates.
  3. Maintain Help Pages for Volunteers
    - TXGenWeb has a wide range of pages for helping new and experienced volunteers.
    - Pages for recruitment need to be kept simple but informative.
