The TXGenWeb Project Hall of Fame

The TXGenWeb staff has decided to implement a new award beginning on January 1, 2005. All counties that have won the COM 3 times will be automatically added to the Hall of Fame and will display the award graphic on the website.

The counties in the Hall of Fame will not be eligible for any further COM awards but will be included in each year's County of the Year nominations.

The new award will have 2 effects:

1) It will give more counties a chance at the COM
2) It will encourage Hall of Fame counties to continue to update information and improve

The graphic for the Hall of Fame Award was designed by Kimm Antell for the TXGenWeb Project.
